Mouse problem - 10/4/2005 18:10:48
My mouse scroll by itself...

i did virus scan.. no virus..

it happened before.. few times already
and what i did was change my mouse

and it became ok again
then after a while.. a few months then..
it become nuts again

i was using wireless mouse before..

right now i'm using plug in mouse

the only problem is...
it scroll faster..
i mean.. i just scroll like.. once.. but it brings me to the end of the page..

and.. when i click to links,
the page will be scrolled by itself..

my mouse is haunted? :(

or is it just wireless stuff are useless?
it's a set of keyboard and mouse

and there's nothing wrong with the keyboard..
everything works well as for the keyboard

only the stupid small mouse is driving me crazy!

check your batteries?

Also make sure that you're the proper distance from the antennae... if you're too close to it there can be issues.

Try going to the Device Manager and removing the mouse driver. Reboot and have Win re-install the driver. That might help. If not, possibly borrow a mouse to confirm backup mouse is not the problem.

Mice are quite simple input devices and can only have so many things go wrong with them.

If it's only happening in your web browser and not on other document types there could be something to investigate with that as well... if it's not IE try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
