Does anyone know how to have an animated gif move around on the page? Here's an example of what I'd like to do, only using an animated gif instead of a plain one... Dynamic Drive - Autumn Leaves Any input would be wonderful! Thanks! -Katie

it DHTML which is the combination of html, css and javascript. not for the faint of heart to try.

I think it is just a case of using the code they are freely offering and then just linking it to your animated graphics instead of their leaves. Interesting effect!

I tried to do it w/ an animated gif & didn't get it to work...but now I see it can be done... So, I'm going to play around with it & figure out what I did wrong! Thanks for all your help~ Love your version Rick!

You guys are a riot! [:D] Just as an update... I got my effect to work... just a few, small fluttering bats for Halloween- it shouldn't cause any epileptic seizures! Thanks for all the great input here!!
