cindyw9 Posts: 1 Joined: 10/5/2005 Status: offline	Anybody familiar with PSP7? problem - 10/5/2005 13:38:31 Im hoping someone will be able to help me. I am having a problem with PSP7 shutting down on me when I try to use the text tool. I can do everything but use this tool. Whenever I go to use it the windows error message pops up with PSP has encountered an error and needs to shut down. I can click on the icon and it is ok, but when I click where I want to place text the cursor turns to the hourglass immediately and then pops up with this message. This is really getting frustrating. Can anyone help? I have uninstalled the program, deleted all traces that I could find. Emptied recycle bin, rebooted, then reinstalled the program. I still have the same problem. And what is even stranger, My last 10 files are appearing on the fresh install along with all preferences that I had chosen for my last project. It seems to me even thought the program showed it was uninstalled, it did not uninstall. However I could not find any traces of it. I am really puzzled here and hoping for some help.

You could pick up a registry cleaner which would do it but I don't think that's your problem. How much free memory do you have and how full is your hard drive? It may be down to space problems. Otherwise, I would shoot along to the JASC site and see what they have in the way of support.
