OK, I'm ready to take this to my boss now. Please keep a couple of things in mind.

1. Tripod is a test site only, we already have a host.
2. This is what she wants, I can't change much more on it.

Basically, what I'm looking for general usability, or how I could improve it technically.

Thank you,

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Basically I think all the pages just need more padding, probably about twice what you have at the moment.

ditto pading comments

when you link back to the top you need to put in
<a name="top"></a>

otherwise it only works in IE

you have no footer/copyright info, also - more importantly  -  no contact details either!!!

not sure i really like the braces (curly brackets) much ;)

^I have changed the italic on the <h2> tages

I have won a few battles with my boss with regards to the website. The main one being having the links at the top. She really liked it when I made it white text on the blue background and added the gold diamonds. It helped that a few of the other people in the office sided with me. I have changed the layout a bit on the front page. Could you have a look and let me know what you think?

She also wants to change the slogan "Working together towards your success" If you have any suggestions on what to change it to, they would be greatly appreciated. She also wants to create one name for the articles instead of having two seperate "subjects". Any suggestions on that would be great too. I have a hard time thinking of things like that.

We are going to be using one name to cover both sides of the business, so it will look like one big business, kind of like a "One-stop-shop" for businesses. The domain name is going to be changed to reflect this as well as all of our business cards and letterhead. We will be using the name Cox & Company.

Thank you for all of your help,

Jennifer

PS: Please keep in mind that the Tripod site is temporary. As soon as we are satisfied that the site is done, we will be moving it to our own domain.

Very nice. I would still increase the padding around the text though. Too close to the edge.

You could call the articles - Articles or Business talk, or Business Info or Hints and Tips.

Strapline?

"planning for success" sounds good!

site looks good now, ditto the 'more padding'

you have used points for your stylesheet which should only be used for print. try using percentages instead ;)
