My Inheritance? - 10/12/2005 14:07:32
I have noticed that one of my styles seems to take on some of the characteristics of the style used in material preceding it. Specifically, I have user defined 10pt Times NR with NO character spacing appearing at the bottom of a page in a table cell by itself, following body text (also a user defined style whith character spacing of 1.1). The Times Roman seems to pick up the 1.1 character spacing of the body text. Changing the order of the styles of the external sheet doesn't appear to change this "inheritance." The only work around I have found is to specify a spacing of "0" for the Times text. What am I missing, here?

Also remember that inline style takes precedence over embedded styles, which in turn take precedence over external ( ie. linked) stylesheets.
