FP Extensions with 2003 Server - 10/17/2005 19:46:12
Help - we cannot get the FP extensions to work on a new 2003 server. They are installed and when we input the specifics and hit save, nothing happens. We've spent countless hours and don't know what we're doing wrong. Can anyone help?

I am using FP 2003 and using a 2003 server to host my site. We cannot get the extensions to install and save. Installation goes like normal. It is when we are configuring the SMTP server, e-mail address, etc (server extensions) that we get no response. We are hosting our own site on our own server using Windows 2003. We have uninstalled and reinstalled FP extensions and continue to get the same results. When I click on the Submit button I get no error message and no response. The only way to exit the screen is to close it. Extensions were installed from control panel but not downloaded from website. What are we doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Do you have ASP enabled? By default 2003 Server and IIS have ASP disabled.

Are you trying to activate them for a specific site?
You will need to do that for them to work on that site.

Check your internet settings on your IE browser. On a server, the settings are set pretty high. You need to add the URL / domain as a trusted domain so that it will be able to function
