Turning off FP Embedded File Save - 10/25/2005 10:39:42

I'm working live, creating a newsletter with absolute URLS for images, and every time I save the file, the embedded file window pops up. It doesn't recognize the absolute URL for the images, and saves them locally. This will not do.

Up until I wiped my computer and reinstalled FP2003 last weekend, I would copy the image location into the picture properties window. FP rarely asked me if I wanted to save the graphics on the page as embedded, and certainly not when I had given the absolute URL.

There has to be some setting that needs to be changed, but I need a clue where to look. Please help - renaming pictures is sucking up a huge amount of my time.

Thanks
jaybee

The only thing I can suggest off the top of my head is if it's a new page, save it immediately, before typing any content/URIs into it then see what happens. I've noticed FP does odd things with links before the page is saved.
