how do i seperate text in two columns in a table with a horizontal line? im v new plz advice

if the 2 colums were one under the other?! apply a border to the bottom of the first? check the FP help files for borders on tables

you can do it like this then <td style="border:1px solid black;"> more on using cascading stylesheets here

make a table with 3 columns - set the middle column width = 1 or 2 then put a 1x1 or 2x2 colored .gif image in as background - it will expand to produce your vertical line. dave will be along to give you a css method <smile>
