Logo and banner help - 11/2/2005 6:34:59
Hi, wonder if anyone would mind helping as my graphics "mind" is rubbish.
I am trying to think of a new banner for my web. Attached is my logo.
I want a banner for my web at www.homesinspain.ltd.uk
It think it should include the logo and our telephone numbers. Or maybe our logo and a "statement" and the phones numbers elsewhere.
Statements could be :"Family Company that Gives Your The Choice" or "Independent Brokers for New and Resale properties in Spain" or anything else!
Maybe it should have a background image or colour as the current "white" is not doing it for me.

Does anyone have any ideas - my brain is not helping me!!!!:)

Many thanks

OK, this is where the inspiration fairy is needed.

Do what I do. Google search for sites in your sector, go look at their banners. Then go look at other sites and see if you can find something different to your competitiors but better, then mock one up with different graphics.

Thanks Jaybee,

I've been trying that, but just don't seem to get any inspiration. But I'll keep looking!!!!
I like the way this Forums header is laid out, but cant think how I could incorporate a logo with a white background over a nice "spanish" image. I could do something like a beach scene fading from right to left, so it "bleeds" out to white as it reaches the logo.
On the whole, web sites reflecting property oversear don't seem that good/inspirational.

Anyway, thanks for the tip

Why don't you try your fade and then post it in Critiques. People will come and make suggestions or fall over in admiration! :)
