Tailslide -> What have you learnt this year - CSS (11/8/2005 4:47:49)

I think the majority of us here are probably self taught as far as CSS goes which, while admirable means that you learn the subject in whatever order you come across stuff in - not necessarily a logical order. Tips and trick and techniques seem frequently to come out of the blue as the result of reading articles, books and forums (fora?) like this one. So in that light I was wondering what was the most useful CSS tip, trick or technique you've learnt this year - top 3 maybe - not "of all time" just this year. I'll start. My top 3 CSS things from this year are: 1. Using display:inline in divs to counter the IE double float bug 2. Adding height 100%, margin-bottom 1px to the html element to get rid of FF page shift. 3. Finally found a "good" IR method: wellstyled.com Passed on to me by a member of this forum!
