Hi Yvonne,

IF you are talking about the site in your profile, it is listed in Google, but I couldn't find it in MSN or Yahoo. Those three are the only ones really worth worrying about.

In Google search for this: site:http://www.acs2.net/

Your site has a PR of only 2. To improve that you need to get some back-links from related sites and it might help to get listed in DMOZ directory. Then search engines will find you naturally - by following links from elsewhere.

Reading up about SEO might help - this is a great site to start with:

Don't worry about your page rank - it is not the deciding factor in determining how well your site ranks. But, like Kitka said - get more backlinks.

Although google send freshbot crawlers every few days, but to spider the whole web your site need for complete update and full indexing during google dance in monthly basis. I hope this link might be helpful you for more information about SE index; http://www.rankforsales.com/google-monthly-update-cycle-and-dance.html

No. That advice is so outdated I almost removed the post as it makes us all look like duffers. There is no google dance and hasn't been for 2 years(?).

also i find that currently keyword densities are meaningless with google, but not completly on yahoo, msn..

as to the conversation: Although i have a site that has more quality back links, then does the persons in the number 1-4 spot on google, I wonder if age of site is playing a factor here, my back links are from goverment type sites and the sites under the number 1's (by using link: feature) contains mainly the sites own pages (and a lot of them) except for two of the links, while i have 7 from top sources and far less of my own pages. any thoughts on this...

The link feature on Google is worthless. Try the linkdomain command on Yahoo for a better idea of backlinks.
