Something blocking form auto-fill - 11/22/2005 7:24:59
Something is blocking the auto-fill function when I fill out webforms - not the type that highlights the form fields that can be filled and then fills them all at once (like the Google and IE auto-filler facilities) - just the one where it picks up on the letters typed and then offers the options of previously typed details, such as email address etc.
I have the feature turned ON in IE6 but it is not working. Trouble is, a while ago I installed multiple toolbars all at once and a new firewall. Short of uninstalling and/or trawling the myriads of options I just wondered if anyone with previous experience of this could put their finger straight on the cause (?).
This is what I have installed:
Google toolbar
MSN "
Yahoo! "
Kerio Firewall
MS AntiSpy
All these toolbars have 'helpful' security features so it could be these but I don't know...
Anyone recognise one of the above as the culprit?
