"Classic ASP" Supported For 10 More Years - 11/22/2005 10:46:36
Take heart all you "Classic ASP" developers out there--Microsoft plans to include "Classic ASP" support in Windows Vista and Longhorn Server, so you can expect ASP support for at least another 10 years.

A little more information at http://www.hanselman.com/blog/LifecycleSupportForClassicASPInWindows.aspx. "ScottGu" is Scott Guthrie, one of the big mucky-mucks in the development of ASP and ASP.NET.

I have to agree that ASP.NET is a far superior platform, and if you're starting a new project, think about migrating to the 2.0 platform. But anything you have now will continue to work, provided you wrote it well enough to be around that long.
