image accompanying message text on e-mail - 11/22/2005 12:30:16
Hi-- I recently received an e-mail with an image (painting) not "attached" (hidden) but rather inserted and viewable with the text. I asked sender how this was done and was told to "right click the mouse in the body of the email, one of the options is 'insert a picture.' " I tried this and an insert option did not appear.
If I could accomplish this insertion it would be an extremely eye-catching and useful tool (I'm an artist) in communication with very busy recipients, who wouldn't have to open an attachment. Does anyone have a clue as to how to achieve this? Thanks, folks.

If you use Thunderbird, you can do it by clcking the little 'insert image' button on the toolbar
