BBCi is the BBC's (British Broadcasting Corporation) interactive web service that compliments its TV and radio.
Interesting report on the problems faced by people with disabilities using the BBCi website. The report focuses on the BBCi site, but also gives some good advice on what makes an accessible and useable website.

• The site allows the user to select their preferred text size;
• The site can be viewed clearly by those with colour deficient vision;
• Colour is used redundantly;
• Moving text is avoided, or where used it freezes to allow ease of reading;

• There is sufficient contrast between text and background colours;
• The page has a logical tab order through all screen elements;
• Each page has a descriptive title;
• All sections of text of more than two lines are left aligned;
• The site avoids blinking and flickering;
• The site uses common web conventions.

It makes very interesting reading, particularly the comments made by disabled testers on actually using the site.
