Alt Tags - 11/28/2005 8:28:36
I'm going to add alt tags to my site because I have a fair amount of images (relevant to the site) on most of the pages. On some pages I'll have more jpeg's than text. Will I be able to add this information to my keywords? Thanks.

However keep in mind alt tags for SEO has been off the radar for a while as it got pretty spammy. Now I mainly use this for what it is intended, visually impaired people.
