When looking for ram you want unbuffered, pc3200 @ 400mhz. Mushkin make great ram, a lot of OCers use that. Board can take it and I already run 1 and a half GB of RAM (Though not as good as that brand) and I've him my RAM limit when working with PSP and Fireworks before now. Eventually you'll reach a point where you can hold more information in your Memory than your processor can effectively use. It can still cause a bottleneck in overall performance. And data can only move across the pipe so much at a time, in x amount of time. Will you notice either way? Maybe not. 2GB of RAM is pleanty for a 32bit processor I think. But 4GB is a pretty cool bragging point and it would be kind of fun to see just how far you could push it. Like the old "how fast can I fill up my Gmail account" game. Only more expensive. I put 1GB in this little beastie and it's only been over 70% a few times. All of them involved video processing. Then again... if you're going to drop the $200 on processor and Mobo eventually you'll want the RAM anyway... If you link me to the MB's manual and website's product page, I'll tell you if it will suffer at all with 4 sticks of ram. I know my MB actually doesn't run 4 sticks well. It automatically takes the ram from 400 to 333, which isn't cool! Go spend some time working away in Photoshop, then see how much ram is being used. If you see you are topping out around 1.5gb, then you might decide it would be better to increase your ram to 3 or 4gb. I spoke to a guy at Mushkin last night and he said it would be no drama running 4 gigs of their stuff on either of the MOBO's, he in fact said:

It's a good round, high velocity and it makes a mess of what you hit without killing if required, which is what it is designed to do. :) (Army tactics dictate shooting and injuring one man ties up 3 to 4 other men, thus you only have to shoot 10 men and you just crippled a full platoon - Company. Kill one man and he gets left behind and the rest of the platoon/company continues but are now pi**ed off rather than scared and confused.)
