Front Page Forms and Extensions - 12/1/2005 13:03:58
Hi, I am going insane here and I hope someone can shed some light on my problem. It seems that on some sites on my server (dedicated Server, running Windows 2003) that some websites are not capable of running Front Page based forms. When clicking submit on these forms, it doesn't do anything. It looks as though it's loading something, but it seems to just refresh the page. It doesn't send an email, it doesn't redirect the submitter. It just sits there. It seems that these sites that have this problem though, have a different verion of the Front Page Extensions which is version 5.0.2.6738. The sites that do work are on version 5.0.2.5012. So, I guess my question is, how or why did this all of a sudden start happening, and how do I get these forms to work properly on version 5.0.2.6738? Thank you for any help you guys can provide me!! -- Matt Gordon

Have you attempted to sign into the FP admin control and "recalculate the web" - this will usually work As far as the differences, I have noticed this happens if FPSE are installed on the particular domain after the webpages have been uploaded via FTP or another way and have the _vti_inf folders already there
