Am I being tremendously thick here? I'm trying to put a couple of drop down menu items in a form using the insert>form>drop down menu. They are one above another in a form. Thats fine, but here's the thing: The width of the box gets set by the width of the longet 'option' within that box. I've tried to resize it via every method I can think of but I can't get the two to be the same size as each other and therefore looking smart? Is there a way around this? It's driving me nuts!! Stuart, This is a bit simplistic and I'm sure there is a real guru around to provide a much better answer but if you just make the last "option" with a series of underscores (no link) you can make the width the same for both. ------------------ I think, therefore I am, I think.

"The width of the box gets set by the width of the longet 'option' within that box" Yes it does, but what are you trying to reset it to? longer or shorter? You can apply css to make it longer, and I guess shorter?

Spooky, I just want the boxes to be the same width so they look neat. I guess therefore I want the smaller box to be widened to match the wider box? Is there a link to show how to do this css? And mike, that wasn't such a bad idea! At the moment I have them the same size by putting *select here* as the first (disallowed) option in each box. As this is longer than any of the options, it sets both boxes to the same size... ------------------ *born to be wild*
