Very likely. Quartz is their new offering:

Hmmmm, looks interesting...

Does Expression Web Designer work on all browsers?

Yes. Expression Web Designer supports XHTML and CSS standards and will enable Web designers to easily build browser-agnostic sites. Expression Web Designer also incorporates rich accessibility support to help build the most accessible, standards conformant Web sites possible.

That'll be nice...

Agnostic???

According to Chambers:

quote:

agnostic
n
unbeliever, sceptic, doubter colloq. doubting Thomas

Does this mean we doubt the browsers ability to interpret code generated, or ... they doubt the browsers ability to interpret the generated code???

Whichever way - doesn't sound hopefull :) :)

:) I noticed that - perhaps it means they don't believe in other browsers and therefore it will continue to generate code that's only meaningful to M$ browsers.

We can live in hope tho...:)

hmmmm......just watched the video promo.......looks like they are trying to be like Adobe with a Creative Suite type of thing

Anybody have an idea when it is due out? Of course that's kind of funny considering Longhorn is STILL not released

Nope. Even the MS guys in UK HQ seem to have no idea. A few of them didn't even know what I was talking about. :)

FrontPage has been bashed since v98. MS won't get anyone from the "other side" unlss they change the name of the program. Despite how much cleaner FP 03 is, people still include it in the usual FP bashing.

Hopefully the WYSIWYG will still function as good as it does now. Many CSS based designs actually display correctly in the design view in FrontPage.

Has anyone seen if this is going to support FPSE at all?

Would the newer versions be called "FPSE" or "ESE"?
