(12/2/2005 13:16:51) Hi, I am going to upgrade my pc from XP Home to XP Pro or XP 64<haven't decided yet> and I have a large amount of files and programs that I want to be safe. My questions are: When I upgrade will It affect my second HD? If it doesn't would it be wise to back up my files there? If it doesn't will it have issues runnung the HD since it was installed in XP Home? <the only reason I am not backing everything up to disk is that it would take 6 DVDs to store everything I need safe>

Spooky -> RE: Will it wipe my second HardDrive? (12/2/2005 13:33:07) No, it wont effect that drive at all. However, I would err on the side of safety and disconnect the drive before installing - mainly so that you dont make an incorrect drive letter selection
