fav icon appears IMMEDIATELLY online ? - 12/19/2005 13:01:13
If I have a hosting web space with many subwebs(frontpage webs) may insert a different favicon in each subweb ? If I insert a fav icon to an index.htm page this automatically go and to other subpages ? After finishing inserting a fav icon this automatically appears IMMEDIATELLY online ?

I've got a favicon on my site - I've also got several other favicons "lower down" in the same site on test pages for clients - so I don't see why you couldn't use them on subdomains.

Hi again Different browsers deal with favicons in different ways - can't actually remember which way round this goes but anyway, one lot will have favicons appearing in bookmarks but not always on the url bar and the other lot have it appearing in the url bar but not always the bookmarks. If you're using IE then using your mouse, drag a couple of times at the little IE icon that appears in the url bar ahead of your website address - and your favicon should appear - it works for me in FF straight off and in IE when I pull at it a bit. Weird I know.

I don't know how it's structured - does the theme have a header.php file with the header stuff in - if so I'd stick it in there.

If I have a hosting web space with many subwebs(frontpage webs) may insert a different favicon in each subweb folder ? Please note that each subweb has it's own Forward-to-url domain ? Forward-to-url domains may have fav icons ? If yes, masked or unmasked domains ?
