Index.htm doesn't update --- unless - 1/5/2006 13:34:57
I'm running a Win Server 2003 with IIS and FP extensions installed. When I re-publish from my desktop computer to the server, the index.htm page does not update....unless I go to the server and stop/start the WWW Publishing Service. Anybody ever heard of this?? Got a fix??

Yes, all other updated pages do "refresh". It's only the index.htm file that does not unless I manually restart the WWW publishing service.

Never thought about that, so I just tested it. After an update there is no difference whether you go to
http://myurl/index.htm
and:
http://myurl/

I'm having the same problem. There is a difference. When I type in the url with the index.htm at the end I see the page the way I want. When I just type in the url, I see the old page no updated or anything. Whats up with that?
