Please critique - UCORA site - 1/6/2006 23:46:28
Web site / forum design is really not my strong suit. I am good at systems design, configuration and administration. But I designed this site (please have a look at the forums too) and frankly, I think we need to find a "real" web designer. (I take criticism well, so please be honest)

BTW, at one time the whole site was validated CSS and HTML4, but I need to go through it and clean it up again. :) Which I'm doing this evening. Though on the index.html, the validator doesn't like a js that I run to show the latest 10 posts from the forums. I'm not really sure how to fix this... yet. :)

Nope it's not bad. It's a little on the vanilla side but clean and easy to navigate. The store page threw me off for a second being different from the other pages but I should have expected the difference (I did with the forums section :)) Of course neither gave me an obvious route back to the main site...:):)

Thanks Mike! I'll see what I can do about clearing up the navigation back to the main site. :)

We are looking for a grahpic / web designer to redesign the site, but we want to get the basic structure and useability issues worked out first.

Thanks again!
