Is there an quick and easy (preferably free!) way to send an email reminder to certain people on certain days of the week? Thanks

What server side language are you using? Will you send this reminder yourself via the browser or did you want some type of automated script - similar to a cron job?

Hi Corey My server has PHP. My Cpanel has 'Cron jobs' listed there but I have never used this feature and have no idea about it. I want to set an email reminder to go to 5 different people. To person 1 on a Monday, person 2 on a Tuesday and so on... Can Cron jobs do this? or maybe there is a PHP script for this purpose?

I have never worked with eiter but it is my undrstanding that they work in conjunction with each other. You have a PHP script that needs to be ran(emailing these people). And usually to do this, it needs some type of user interaction. That is where the CRON job comes in - it "activates" the page so that it can be ran.

For exampl, I know that our newsletter script has what you want but we run a Wincron against it since it is ASP. Yuo might check out Mailing Lists Managers as well to see if one of those has the script that you are looking for. A quick looks finds Mailing List Manager Pro 3.0 which has scheduling options. And The NotOneBit.com Simple Mailing List also seems to offer The ability to schedule mailings for a future date. You might check out the Simple Mailing list since it is free to see if it will suffice
