Where does FP store passwords? - 1/19/2006 19:29:37
I'm trying to set up ccbill on my site administered by http://winsave.com . I have a subweb of proprietary material with password protection.
CCBill wants to set my billing for me by ftp'ing into the locations of the passwords so they can administer passwords to paying customers.
A: I can't figure out where the passwords are stored and
2: Front Page doesn't use ftp so i'm not sure they can even access my userid and password areas? They are a huge billing company so i'm sure they would know if Front Page was a problem and they don't think it should be.
I've searched on the web and keep seeing a reference to a vti folder which I can not see. I have set the front page settings to view all files and folders.

Per my isp's advice i've FTP'd into my site where several more files are visible but still no htaccess files that I can find. I have several passwords and userid's set up through the admin area but I still can't locate them.
There are several vti_cnf directories but none seem to house htaccess ???
