Rocket Boy -> Trying to add things (1/25/2006 17:34:16)

The most annoying thing about making websites is trying do something only to have another aspect go completely wrong as a result.

I have been remove the underlines from my left hand menu as suggested in another thread but using the text-decoration command makes the boxes disappear. It isn't applied at this precise moment because trying to do this has caused me another issue which I cant find the answer to.

My index page now has a gap between the top graphic and the body. I have no idea how it got there all by itself, none of the other pages are affected.

Am I causing myself problems by having all of my CSS code in a sheet? Should some elements be detailed on the individual pages?

I think it's right there:

<td bgcolor="#FFEFD5" width="120">&nbsp; <h3><a class="one" title="View our 2006 gallery"..........

Remove that and try again.

Thank you... That was very annoying!!

FP adds this stuff automatically, is there anyway to switch that option off?

What an idiot lol... I was looking at a different page.. That didn't work.

I have tried copying the entire top part of the page and pasting it to the index page which makes no difference. This to me means it is a global setting but then why aren't the other pages affected?

go to tools, page options, click on htm source and check preserve existing html, and that should help you out.
