Outlook rules - 2/2/2006 20:29:46
Hi,
I've just set up a new rule - auto reply with a template I created. Although the rule is correct (specific words in subject, reply using template) I cannot get it to work. I use other rules to move email into various folders, but this is the first time I have tried to reply using a rule. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I use rules in Outlook for this all the time at my day time job. Use templates for auto replies every day.
Note: this won't work at home or via OWA (web access for Outlook).
Are you using an Exchange Server?
Rules on the server or the client?
Using the exchange mailbox and not a PST?
Reviewed all the check boxes in Rules/Tools?
Where did you store/file the template?
More information needed. Don't normally have any issues.
