Searching for a link, - 2/13/2006 10:36:21
A while back someone sent me a page with an intersting navigation on it.

Somehow it was done with graphics, but it wasn't the sliding doors way of doing them.

If anyone can help or has a link or knows something about this I would appreciate some help.

I thought that it was ritarun that had shown it to me, but I can't remember :)

What did the finished effect look like and/or do you remember what it was about it that was particularly clever or caught your eye?

It was a side navigation, and it had small images in it, sort of would look like slices of the images?, and when you hovered over it, the image became a larger image, not giant but a bit larger.

It was neat, and it wasn't something that seemd to be difficult to do.

Was it a straight swap - small image for larger image? If so you could just have the bigger image as the on:hover background.

Stu Nicholls used a similar effect but a different technique in one of his photo galleries - I think Caz has used this as navigation (sorry if I'm wrong Caz!).

I don't think it was stu Nicholls's method. I know what gallery you are talking about, and Maybe it was caz that had sent me the site to view when she did the menu?

Sooo confused, lol and bugged because I can't remember the site that it was on.
