Has caught my curiosity. The big question, IMHO, is the stock prices this week :).

Take care,

Brian

Seems Paypal are jittery, and understandably so - they say they now have 100 million clients but the cake is still very large and with the ebay user base I can't see them being crushed in any way or form.

Google obviously needs a new cash-cow and Gbuy would appear to make perfect sense but until we know exactly how that will operate it's difficult to say how it's going to effect Paypal.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this pans out, hopefully the end user will be the winner here.

Andy

It used to be that Network Solutions was a monopoly and then they were just massively dominant in the domain registration market. They were just totally awful to their customers during this period of time.

Then Godaddy and a few others began to make inroads, and their attitude to customers completely changed. Netsol's customer service folks are actually nice and helpful these days. I never thought that I would see myself type that.

I suspect that Paypal will start taking much better care of customer service if Google has any success with this.

As someone who creates a lot of ecommerce websites I'm glad of any new method of taking payment online so long as it is simple to use and easy to integrate. I'm sure googles system will be a welcome additon to the many other options out there.
