Gaps Between Nav buttons - 10/30/2001 23:08:00
I've built this very cool button for a nav bar, but it only works if the buttons butt up against each other. How do I delete the spaces between them?------------------

Difficult to say without knowing how you are positioning them. Are you using the return button to place them one below the other? If so hit Shift+return to create a line break rather than a paragraph. Are the buttons in a table? If so set cell padding and cell spacing to zero. A url would help get a more a specific answer. ------------------ Katherine InKK Design LinKKs - Kilkenny's Online Magazine -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* "Dogs have owners, cats have staff!"

Actually Kath (if I can call u that )he would want cell spacing at 1 and padding at 2 (IMHO) He wants space between buttons and not together

If you are modifying a theme to use these buttons with the FP nav bar, you cannot remove the spacing. Your other option is to use them as plain buttons without the mouseover effect, or to create two sets of buttons with the text on them and use a javascript for the rollover effect. Check www.outfront.net/FAQ.htm for javascript rollovers. Linda------------------ Frontpage Web Templates

Thanks Linda, that's what I feared. Its odd that FP allows vertically stacked button with no gapsm but not horizontal ones. Looks like its back to the javascript. Cheers
