Feedback on freedomainsite.com - 3/3/2006 22:17:15
Hi,
I have a few questions about my site, if you would be so kind as to review it...
1. Music -- I HATE the music, but it seems like more people sign up when it is there. I don't know why. What do you think?
2. I need people to realize that it's not a scam. Just an affiliate program that pays me for leads. People don't seem to understand that even though they don't provide credit card info, I still get paid for the lead.
And anything else! Thanks!

Does misery actually love company?
I'm not sure how to combat the cynicism you're running into, other than perhaps adding a fairly prominent button leading to an explanation of your business model, and actual pictures of yourself (many people will feel more comfortable dealing with a person, as opposed to a company).
But hey, if you think you've got problems with cynicism, try telling people that you are an honest politician...

i gave your site 30 seconds - about the time i would give it if i was interested. here is the impression it gave me:
** the word "free" hits me everywhere i look! - ok, i get the message but everyone knows there is no free lunch
**points hit me everywhere and thats how its free - ok i get the point
** you assure me (somewhat defensively) that it isnt a scam ("me think he doth protest too much")
here is what i didnt get:
how the hell do you earn points????
it may be there but my 30 second look couldnt find it - it is the crucial question you must address - upfront and not hidden
