XP Pro stuck in another language - 3/4/2006 16:08:49
Hi,
I have recently installed Windows XP Pro on a computer, and for somereason it did not give me an option to chang the installation language, and installed in the wrong language. After looking it up on Microsoft's web site, I found that the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Multilingual User Interface Pack could help me, but they make no mention of how you would go about getting this MUI, So my questions are: Is this product actually available, and if so, then where. And if it is not , is there a way to change the base language for Windows?

Thanks.

I don't know about the MUI but have you tried Control Panel>Regional and Language Options?

Hi, I had to resort to exchanging the disk and reinstalling the program...

The Regional and Language settings did everthing but change the main language of the program, and the help file said the only way to change everything was with the MUI. But I replacedthe program, so now everything works fine.

But, thank you for taking the time out and effort to respond. :)
