Change Hyperlink Color - 3/4/2006 17:04:25
Hi,
I am trying to change my hyperlink color, its actually a Bookmark hyperlink, which takes the visitor to a different part of my page when clicked. However, I haven't been able to change the dull blue color to something else. I've tried Page property - Format - Hyperlink Colors - Active Hyperlink - Visited Hyperlink colors etc. But they are not changing, the page is not a theme so I don't know what the problem is. I also tried Page Layout - Advanced - enable roll over effects that is not working either. Can someone explain how I can simply change the color of the hyperlink basic color, and then of course have it change to a different color on mouseover. thanks su

I don't know if this is related to your problem, but the links to an in-page bookmark will always show whatever your visited colour is, since that page has been visited (since the link is on the page of the bookmark). Sorry if that's just stating the obvious but it drove me crazy for a while when I first started out! :)

Hi Susu

I am not sure if you've tried this:

highlight your link
right click
go to Form
go to Font
change the link color

Check out Hyperlinks - you might need to add another class if it is only bookmark hyperlinks you want it applied to. Also do you have a DOCTYPE? If not - Internet explorer will go into quirks mode and some things might not display properly
