Sometimes in XP pro, certain functions are disabled mysteriously.  for example i right click on the task bar and "Task Manager" is greyed out, or I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and "Change Password" and "Task Manager" are greyed out.  Sometimes those are both happening at the same time.  The only fix is to reboot.  Any ideas?

Try this:
Start > Run, Type "gpedit.msc", then go User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Ctrl + Alt + Del Options. Set Remove Task Manager to Disabled.

I actually couldn't get to RUN because of "restrictions placed on this account"  But I got it from a command Prompt.  I was able to get back task manager and other Ctrl+Alt+Delete options that were missing.  BUT.  I still can't get the RUN dialog back.  I'm sure there are other things restricted that I havnt found yet.  The reason its not THAT big of a deal is because most of the time I use my computer on the domain at work, and that account is fine.
