hotwired -> synch not working for publshing (3/6/2006 16:37:37)

The synchronization feature for publishing is not working for me. This is the first time I have had this issue. I outgrew my last two web hosts and now use HostGo, an apache server with Linux and Frontpage support.
I have subdomains otherwise I would subscribe to Thomas Brunt's excellent service!!! :)
I have used Frontpage since it's inception and also taught it as a Microsoft certified teacher. My experience is limited however when it comes to more than the basic errors.
I have numerous subdomains and I have not been able to get this web working properly since I uploaded it and started my new account with HostGo a couple months ago. Actually, it will work one week, and then the next week something else will stop working. Right now the major issue is the synch feature. I only have an index.html since this is a Linux OS server.
Anyone know what is causing this?
I have one other issue that might be related and I will post it as a separate thread (navigation bars not appearing.)
