http://www.users.on.net/~nicoleoz/services.htm Hi everyone, I'm still working away at learning CSS layout in my spare time, this is what I've achieved so far and last night I decided to validate it. The only thing I'm failing AAA on seems to be the following, which I understand and have overcome on different sites in the past, but they were horizontal menus and not vertical ones like this Stu Nicoll's one: quote:
10.5 Until user agents (including assistive technologies) render adjacent links distinctly, include non-link, printable characters (surrounded by spaces) between adjacent links. * Rule: 10.5.1 - All Anchor elements not surrounding images cannot be directly adjacent. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 52, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 53, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 54, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 55, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 56, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 57, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. o Failure - Anchor Element found at Line: 58, Column: 1 is directly adjacent to the Anchor element that precedes it. Does anyone know how I can get around this? Nicoole
