Hi--
I have a blog. I'm thinking of incorporating a visitors comments post (program?) to receive reactions, and I haven't the foggiest how to, or where to? Do I buy a retail software program? Or download it? Or what? I use F.P. 2002, tables.
Help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

FrontPage has a discussion component built into it that would work for what you want. There are much better solutions around, but the one with FP takes just minutes to setup. I've used it on a couple of sites and had great luck with it.

You basically have one page with the form textarea, then you use a certain code tag to display the posted results. This form tag can be anywhere, and on any page.

When I was redesigning a site for a group to set up a blog at Blogger-

create your Blog free

You can customise the look using css to reflect the look of your main site and just give a link to the blog for comments. I saw it as a half way house, a stop gap until the new Snitz forum was done on the redesigned site.

The members appreciated being able to comment and I got valuable feedback along the way.

Hi--

I dug out my FP2002 Dummies book which has the CD containing "Can We Talk?" showing how to create comment posting. 12 pages of text. I'll see how it goes.
Thanks.
