Problems with Navigation after upload - 3/31/2001 20:57:00
I recently re-uploaded my website but now have problems with the navigation bars. The vertical bars all appear in their correct places, however they are empty of text. How do I fix this problem, but in such a way that I don't have to upload the entire site again (36MB). Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

P.S. Here is a link to a problem page to save navigating from the homepage.

Problem page

Thanks

Andrew

When you say upload do you mean upload - ie using FTP?

If so that is possibly the problem. It will need to be published from FP - File>Publish Web.

FP created all sorts of extra stuff that needs to be on the server for themes and so on to work properly. If you overlook some of them when uploading it can be a problem. Publishing should solve it.

Sorry, I should have said publish. I actually used the publish option within Frontpage 2000 to transfer the website. However after a week of partial updates which all failed for one reason or another I managed to republish the entire site. The only downside is the corrupted navigation bars.

Can I do an update on the HTML files and then do a publish changed pages only? Would this cure the problem.

Thanks

Andrew
