can't connect 2 ftp server on computer - 3/20/2006 18:38:53
i get an message ftp server on my web site.
and i get this on 2 different web sites i have.
can anybody help me with this please

the message is can not connect to FTP server.
little more info
tryed from 2 different computers at 2 different locations. with 2 different web sites with a different servers on each web site?
one is yahoo as a server. i

Did you contact the web hosting company? Do you have any Firewalls / AV programs running that could block that port? Do you connect to a specific IP address or something like ftp.example.com?

yes it is ftp
cannot connect to the FTP server on this computer named is what is says
i have shut down the firewall just to see if that is what is was. still the same thing.
any other ideas i can try?
