unable to initialize-HELP!! - 3/25/2006 8:57:53
I recently installed pirates on my pc, and when i try to play it tells me: unable to initialize directx. How can I fix this? please help!
I have:
Windows Xp home edition
Intel(R) 82815 Graphics controller
Directx 9.0c
Intel(R) celeron(TM) CPU 1200 mhz
1.20 G.hz
256 MB RAM
Driver version 6.13.1.12964
If I need to update my graphics, What would be the upgrade from the 82815?

I would try updating your video and sound drivers as well as updating the version of DirectX you have installed.
