well I meant it - Bass Ale or Guiness would do just fine (dark Jamaican rum also but there is inherent danger there)

I love almost any beer that does not come from the big brewerys in the states... EXCEPT the micro brews. If you love beer (i'm getting the gut to prove it) Dogfish Head out of New England (Delaware I think) is my fav.... Damn I want some right now. Think my boss will notice if I slip away for an hour?

RE: doctypes - 3/30/2006 9:22:36
Just to prove that Baileys isn't a girlie drink, a little story from my university days... ...one Christmas, my housemates and I in the student house where I lived decided to do an end of term Christmas dinner, turkey, stuffing, brussels spouts, the whole works.... After we'd spent half the night before preparing the veg (we were catering for 12), half the day cooking it all, and most of the other half eating it, we decided (being poor students) to pool our recources to buy a little after dinner tipple. There was an off-licence down the road on the corner, and off we went with our pooled resources and bought ourselves a couple of litre bottles of Baileys. Back at the house we settled down infront of the TV, glasses ready and opened the bottle. Now one of our number, Alan, was well known for his drinking habits...he regularly woke us when he returned home in the early hours of the morning after his customary 10 pints a night in the student bar, and then spent most of the following day "recovering". We never tried to outdrink him in the bar though. We valued our livers too much. Anyhow, first bottle of Baileys open, we started pouring the drinks. When Alan came to try his, we couldn't beleive our ears when he pronounced it far too strong for him and could he have some lemonade to water it down with? Now as all seasoned Baileys drinkers know, the one thing you do not do with Baileys is "water it down" with regular mixers, becuase it curdles it. So, we ended up "watering it down" for him with milk, and then proceeded to drink him under the table. That was the last we heard from him about us and our "girlie drinks"...

Try it in coffee instead of cream or milk - heaven...
