Cannot create subwebs - 3/28/2006 15:15:59
My web host by default setup FrontPage hosting so that subwebs cannot be created. They are happy to change this to allow the subwebs and on two of my domains that is now working. On the third domain they cannot get it to work and do not really know how they got it to work on the first two domains.
Does anybody know what settings in IIS should be changed to allow subwebs to be created. They are using FrontPage server extensions 2002 on a windows 2003 operating system and I am using FrontPage 2003 as the client.

Can you sign onto the FPSE admin control panel? Go to File - Open web - http://www.example.com. Your FP website is open live. Now go to Tools - Server - Adminstration Home.
You should be taken to a browser that says Site Administration for "http://www.example.com" . At the bottom of that page, you will see sub-web - can you create it there? Or ask them to access IIS and get to that screen?
