MS outlook contains it's own set of tools for completely backing up your data (contacts, mail, tasks, etc) into 1 single file. If you are attempting to backup public folder contents in an Exchange environment you can't do it this way... However, If you're just wanting to backup your personal data: FILE / IMPORT and EXPORT / EXPORT TO A FILE / PERSONAL FOLDER FILE (.pst) / (select your personal mailbox and check "include subfolders" / Browse for the place you'd like to save the file and name the file / Choose an encrypted file or non-encripted file / Click "OK" Outlook will export eveything to one nice neat file... (I actually use this method to backup outlook on a weekly basis) To recover that data if needed: FILE / IMPORT and EXPORT / IMPORT FROM ANOTHER FILE / PERSONAL FOLDER FILE (.pst) / Browse for your backup file / OK Thats is, puts everything back where it was... If you already have data in outlook, and import a .pst, you will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing data or not. And best of all.....it's free... :) Hope that helps!

burn outlook.pst --------------------- When burning a disc with roxio6 sometimes a message appears for "... the project will be temporary modified...do you want to continue ? ..." well what is that means ? I think this is due to some files that belong in "open software" during selection of what be burned in disc, well what this means[...temporary modified...] for my new disc if choose to continue ? there will be any reading problem with the disc & such files ? I think this is a general message appears in each burn soft, well ? eg when I select to be burn outlook.pst (file with email messages), and then accept email and this file get modified, and try to burn disc , this message appears, well IF I CONTINUE BURNING I COULD READ THIS FILE ? THIS (burned disc file)WILL BE THE OLD FILE BEFORE THE NEW EMAILS COME ?
