Screen resolutions per login - 3/30/2006 1:43:44
I prefer 1280 by 1024. My wife prefers 1024 by 768.
I'm running XP-Pro. Screen savers, backgrounds, etc., seem to be login specific, but not screen resolutions. Screen resolutions seem to be global.
Is there way to change this, so each login has it's own screen settings?

Thanks, but it looks like this takes right-mouse-clicking in the system tray and manually changing the resolution. I have an ATI icon that does the same. I was hoping for something that worked automatically as the person logged on.

There's no way of doing this using only the standard tools, so you have to use a third-party program like Multires to do the job. I have never used Multires, but heard it works. www.entechtaiwan.com Download the program and then create some login scripts that will run multires for different users.
