graphic problem - 4/13/2006 18:21:21
okay, i uploaded my site so you guys can see what i was talking about. www.planethi-fi.com i made the site in photoshop and optimized all of the graphics. why does the red glow look like &%^* . it is supposed to be a nice subtle red glow look at some of the dk gray behind the planet and the planet itself. . alot of the gray backgrounds dosnt look smooth. what can i do to fix it? thanks Lisa

The problem is caused by saving all your slices as GIFs. A gif only has 256 colour palette, whereas JPG has millions of colours. So it is best to save the slices that require better definition as JPGs and the the others containing only a few colours as GIFs, because the file size is usually much smaller.
