vision2000 -> How do I place content first? (4/17/2006 9:49:40)

Hi,

How do I restructure the css to place the content before the long navigation I have for this web page

http://www.ihost-websites.com/gordon/

css: http://www.ihost-websites.com/gordon/css.htm

Thank you

You put your content div before your sidebar in the source order then you float the content left, float the sidebar right. Make sure you put widths on the floats or it won't work properly.

Thanks a lot..I didn't realize it would be so easy.

Do you know of an easy hack I could use to align the right nav bar in IE6?
It looks fine in FF.

Why what's it doing in IE6?

I'd like the right nav to be aligned with the right edge of the top blue banner.
The blue border is there temporarily for alignment purposes.

Thank you.

Mess around with the margin-right on the right column. If it's not working for you then try adding display:inline to the right column rules as it's possible that you're seeing the IE double margin bug.

Thanks - you have been a big help.

I wish you well.

vision2000,

I was viewing your website, looking good!

I have a question for you about the subscribe to newsletter. Are you using just a simple form mail script or are you using software? The reason I ask is that I would like to add a newsletter subscription to my website. Thanks.

I use yourmailinglistprovider.com
