hi there, i'm a complete novice so bear with me.

i have recently just purchased an adsl-c4-2 4 ethernet port dynamode router and am trying to configure some settings.
i have configured the ip address and can access the internet on my pc that is running xp, but my housemate has win 98, do i need to do anything differently to set up the connection?

also i am trying to open up the port settings on this particular model so i can enable sound through my ps2's headset as it seems to be blocked by the router. can anyone help me with this?

I wouldnt think you need to do anything differently. The router is the access point to the internet - not your PC
As long as the network cable is connected from the win 98 machine to a spare port on the router, simple configutation should allow access?

yeah i have the other pc's linked up now so that's great, but i still cannot enable sound through my playstations headset. any suggestions?
