Salaam -> Can't publish or copy or delete (5/1/2006 9:39:53)

I've been using FP2003 for years with no problems. Now I can't publish. Some files can't copy. Some Folders don't appear on the remote site. FP takes forever with the message:
'Listing pages../ subsites on remote server,'
without ever completing the task. Apparently the server extentions are working.
I've tried using Network Places and some folders don't seem to exist and this method is also unreliable.
I think the problems started when my ISP had server problems which were all resolved weeks ago.
I have just deleted one 'invisible' folder from my remote site through network places, although network places said that it couldn't delete it. Before it said it didn't exist.
