I have a problem editing with FP - 5/1/2006 14:10:01
I have a problem editing with FP. Whenever I save, FP add
to the beginning of each paragraph. I cannot delete it because it, of course, returns when I save. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone suggest what to do? James

Not sure that I understand. The
tag is how html begins a paragraph. Are you saying that tag is actually visible on the web page when you view the file in a browser? t

Hi Thomas When I edit anything in FP in HTML view (or direct on the page) FP places

paragraph tags around it even if I type in one word. I cannot delete them, because when I save the page they return. Even if I take a template (like Action Lines) and make no changes so it is clean code and save the page, FP places spurious

tags at the beginning and end of of each paragraph. This is new problem, I have not experienced it before and have used FP many time. The tags do not show on the page, they just destroy the look of the template because they move everything down and mess up tables. ___________________________________________________________________ Okay, I solved this issue and decided to post this in case anyone else hits on this problem. By taking "Page Options" and selecting "Preserve Existing html" spurious tags, like my
tag issue mentioned in my posts, canbe removed and the FP editor then works fine.
